Primarily into the manufacturing field, the Company produces Sulphuric Acid and Oleum Ferric Alum.
Expanding his business by promoting Ankur Fertilizers Pvt. Ltd to manufacture super phosphate fertilizers, Mittal scaled new heights in the vast ocean of corporate professionalism. The same year, this agile entrepreneur bagged the entrepreneur of the year award. Further, Mittal's acquisition of the Mercator Lines Ltd. in 1988 totally changed the destiny of this corporate chief.
A man who is always close to market realities, Mittal also received the NITIE-Empresario Most Inspiring Entrepreneur of 2006, an award to recognize people who inspire others to achieve their best. Thanks to Mittal's vision and rock-hard policies, Mercator Lines has over the years emerged as India's third largest shipping company in the private sector with a clear focus on energy transportation.
