As a Senior Associate with iGate Ventures, a $75-million venture fund, Govil then focused on investments in Internet infrastructure and software services companies. No wonder, he got engaged in several sourcing, consulting, joint venture and cross-border acquisition deals in the IT and BPO space. As an advisor to Technology Holdings, an M&A focused investment-banking firm, he was the main force behind starting several offshore call center, BPO and software services.

Govil, who is known for his visionary business deals, he was instrumental in co-founding several startup ventures like Inventes, Thinknotes and Ipsofacto Consulting. Ipsofacto Consulting, founded in 1997, is an Austin-based software services and systems integration firm that leveraged offshore partnerships. Not only this, he later founded Global Equations in Austin, Texas. As a result of his hard work, the firm soon offered unique global offshoring ecosystem end-to-end services in a seamless manner.
