He joined the Company on a full-fledged basis as a financial analyst in the Midrange engine group in 1988. Still in his 40s, Talaulicar also holds engineering and product management positions in the engine business apart from handling corporate strategy works before joining the Cummins Power Generation business in 1996.

Climbing the ladder of the corporate world in quick succession Talaulicar became Joint Managing Director of Cummins India Ltd. A leading manufacturer of diesel engines based in Pune, the company under him manufactures an average of 10,000 engines per year.
